SVP, Revenue

Edmonton, Alberta (In-office)

Read this if you build revenue engines, not just close quarters.

We Know Training runs credentialing infrastructure for regulated industries. When a professional has to earn, prove, or renew a credential, we're the rails underneath that moment. It's real work, it's needed, and the market is bigger than most people realize.

Here's the honest part, said plainly: our revenue engine works, but it isn't yet a system. We've grown on strong people and good instincts more than on repeatable process, and we're done leaving growth like that to chance.

Now picture what happens once it's built right.

That's this role.

The impact you'll have

You're not managing a number someone else designed. You're building the operating system that produces it, for three genuinely different customers (individuals, organizations, institutions), each with their own path to us. And you're not just building it behind the scenes: you're often the person representing WKT directly to the customers, partners, and institutions that growth depends on.

Within a year, forecasting here stops being a guess and starts being a tool the whole leadership team plans against. Launches stop being a leap of faith. Handoffs between marketing, sales, support, product, and fulfillment stop losing deals to silence. You'll know it's working because the business starts running on your system instead of on tribal knowledge.

This is the top revenue seat at WKT. It reports to our President (Integrator), sits at the leadership table, and carries real weight from day one.

A day in the life

Monday morning, you're in the weekly scorecard review. Five to fifteen numbers, your numbers, not a vendor's benchmark, and everyone in the room knows exactly who owns which line.

By Tuesday you're in the data with your RevOps lead, checking whether last week's B2B pipeline growth is real or just re-labeled deals, because you'd rather find the crack now than explain it in Q3.

Wednesday's a launch readiness gate. You either sign off or you don't, and everyone in the room knows you have the authority to say no.

Thursday, you're translating: sitting with Product on what “ready” means for a launch, then walking down the hall to make sure Support isn't about to inherit a wave of renewals with no runway to handle them.

Friday, you're back with the Integrator. Not reporting up, building alongside. Comparing what the system is telling you against what the business needs next.

Some weeks this looks like architecture. Some weeks it looks like picking up the phone because a deal's stuck and only you can unstick it. Both are the job.

How we work

Our CEO is the Visionary, the kind of person who'll bring you an idea that's three years ahead of where the business is today, because that's exactly what the seat requires of him. Our President is the Integrator, the one who turns big ideas into rocks, seats, and Tuesday's to-do list.

You report to the Integrator, and you'll work in lockstep with him running the revenue side of the business day to day. You'll also feel the Visionary's energy directly. He isn't shy about bringing you an idea worth chasing. Your job is turning both inputs into a revenue engine that runs without you standing over it.

We run on EOS. Rocks. Weekly scorecard. Level 10 meetings. An accountability chart where your seat, and everyone else's, is genuinely clear. If you've worked somewhere the org chart was theoretical, this will feel like a different sport.

What wins here

We're not going to pretend we have a culture deck full of words nobody actually lives by. Two things actually matter day to day:

Curious. We want someone who gets suspicious of a number that looks too clean, who asks “why” one more time than is comfortable, who treats “that's just how we've always done it” as a problem to solve, not a fact to accept.

Nimble. Three personas, three journeys, one system. You'll build for the dominant case and adjust fast when reality doesn't match the plan, not rebuild from scratch every time something shifts.

Beyond that: we say the hard thing early. We'd rather be accurate than agreeable. We work hard, and we genuinely like the people we work with enough to celebrate the wins out loud.

If that sounds like oxygen, you'll like it here. If it sounds exhausting, you won't.

Where this goes

This is a build role, not a maintenance role. Once the engine is running, that track record is the kind that opens doors. People who stand up a revenue system this way don't stay in one lane. Depending on where WKT is and where you want to go, this seat can grow into broader commercial leadership as the company scales, or become the proving ground for whatever's next for you. We hire for the seat in front of us. We build for the career in front of you.

You

You've carried a revenue number and hit it, ideally across more than one type of customer or motion. You've taken a revenue team that worked despite itself and turned it into one that works because of a system you built. You can look at a dashboard and tell within five minutes whether the number is real or just well-decorated. You can pull marketing, sales, product, and support into one motion without trying to run their departments for them. And when something's wrong, you say so before it becomes a bigger problem than the conversation would've been.

You're equally comfortable representing WKT directly, in the room with a customer, a channel partner, or an institutional buyer, because this seat isn't only the engine room. It's also a face of the business in market.

Title's never been the thing that motivated you. The build is.

What you're stepping into

Twenty years of credentialing expertise in regulated industries. A product line already trusted by real organizations and institutions. A leadership team that runs on a system, not on whoever's loudest in the room. And a revenue function that's finally ready for someone to build it right, instead of holding it together.

This one's not for everyone

If you want a big title and a quiet number, this isn't it. If you want to own the whole engine, build it, break it, rebuild it better, and be measured on what it actually produces, let's talk.
